Wedding gift list

The couple creates a wedding gift list in a few minutes and guests get one link - in the invitation, in a group chat or in a message. Everyone sees what is still free, reserves a gift and doesn't end up buying a second identical coffee machine.

A wedding gift list step by step

  • You add items: a name, price, shop link and quantity, e.g. 12 plates from the same set.
  • You write a note for guests, e.g. that an envelope is welcome too.
  • You share the link. A guest enters a name and email, types in a one-time code and reserves.
  • Before the wedding you see what is left and can add new items.

A group gift for a bigger dream

A honeymoon, a food processor or a sofa are gifts guests happily chip in for together. On an item with a price you tick "Chip in together". Guests join, the person buying closes the group and gives a bank account or BLIK phone number, and everyone sees their share. The money goes directly to the buyer.

Discretion for guests and the couple

The couple only sees how many pieces are free. Only the guest knows what they reserved, so the gift from an uncle stays a surprise until it's opened. The bank account number for a group gift is encrypted, visible only to people in the group, and deleted after settlement.

Guests from abroad

yay.gift works in English and Polish, in the browser, with no install. Family and friends abroad get the same link and use the list in their own language.

How many gifts to add

It helps to have a few more items than there are couples and families among the guests, at different prices: from small kitchen things to bigger group gifts. Add things bought in sets, like cutlery or glasses, as one item with a quantity - guests reserve as many as they want to buy. You can keep adding to the list until the wedding day.

Frequently asked questions

Is the wedding gift list paid?

No. The Wishlist in yay.gift is free.

Can we add gifts from different shops?

Yes. Each item can link to a different shop and have its own price and quantity.

Does the couple see who bought a gift?

No. They only see how many pieces are free. Only the guest knows what they reserved.

How does a group gift for a wedding work?

Guests join a group gift on an item with a price. The buyer closes the group (at least 2 people) and gives a bank account or BLIK number, and yay.gift splits the amount and sends everyone their share. The buyer confirms the payments.
